I am a postdoctoral researcher working on patterns of abyssal macrofaunal invertebrate biodiversity as part of the deep-sea systematics and ecology research group. I have a background in annelid taxonomy, systematics, and molecular phylogenetics, with previous work on Southern Ocean benthic biodiversity and largely undescribed deep-sea annelid faunas from abyssal plain environments where deep-sea mining may occur in the near future.
