Students will learn how plate interactions shape landscapes, generate earthquakes and form volcanoes. This provides a dramatic context to support teaching of the rock cycle.
Students and teachers are invited to join in fun demonstrations, such as shouldering the weight of the world’s tectonic plates and getting to grips with the geophysics of cold custard.
