In 1858, in the crumbling mudstone cliffs of Dorset, the remains of a strange new dinosaur were discovered. It was, until recently, the most complete dinosaur fossil ever found in the UK, and was so well preserved scientists could study almost every aspect of its skeleton.
In this video, Natural History Museum dinosaur expert Dr Paul Barrett tells us the story of Scelidosaurus and why it was such an important find, providing new insights into how dinosaurs looked and walked.
