The earliest known evidence for humans in Britain comes from the Norfolk village of Happisburgh (pronounced Haysborough). Dramatic erosion of the coastline is exposing exciting new finds, but archaeologists are in a race against time before the evidence is lost to the sea.
In May 2013, a storm exposed mysterious hollows on the beach. This film follows the progress of the team as they realise they have uncovered human footprints more than 800,000 years old.
