Habitat

Parkinsonia parkinsoni inhabited a shallow to deep oceanic nekton environment, so are now found in marine sediments such as exposed cliffs.

Distribution

Parkinsonia parkinsoni is a very common ammonite of southern England where it is found in exposed sea cliffs, particularly at Burton Bradstock, Dorset.
