Common striped woodlouse, Philoscia muscoum

As the name suggests, this woodlouse has a dark stripe down its back, and it is usually a mottled yellow or brown colour.

It is very common and widespread in the UK, living in various habitats but particularly grassland.

This species is fast, able to run much faster than other common woodlice, but if you turn over a log in early spring you are more likely get a good look at some as they are often too cold to run away.
