The genus Nannoceratopsis appears in the Early Jurassic (Late Pliensbachian, 185 Ma) and subsists to the latest Jurassic (Kimmeridgian, 151 Ma).
The greatest species diversity exists in the Aalenian (176-171 Ma).
Nannoceratopsis gracilis is known from the Late Pliensbachian (185 Ma) to the Bajocian (168 Ma).
