Bulinus globosus is a member of the Gastropoda, Planorbidae, subfamily Bulininae,Â
The shell is sinistral with a spire and a size of between 22.5 x 14mm.
Placed within the Bulinus africanus species group and similar to Bulinus africanus but copulatory organ with smaller penis sheath, being usually shorter and narrower than the preputium.
