Agrias claudina
Reproduction
The eggs of Agrias claudina are smooth, round and females laid them one by one underneath the host plant. It has been recorded this species can lay up to 100 eggs (ref in Neild 1996). The larvae feed nocturnally, and rest by day.
Males are easily recognised for its androconial brushes on the hindwing upperside (see photo), but little is known about it uses.
