Like all species of Solanum, Solanum phoxocarpum is pollinated by bees:

when the pollen inside the anthers is ripe, a hole opens at the top of each anther
a bee lands on the anthers and buzzes making the pollen shoot out of the holes
the bee collects the pollen to be used as food but some of it is transferred to other plants

We do not know what eats the fruits of Solanum phoxocarpum or how the seeds are dispersed. More observational studies are needed.
