Distribution
To date, Vigtorniella ardabilia has only been recorded from 2 sites in Sweden and Norway:
- 60°21.27′N, 6°20.89′E
- 58° 53.1′N; 11° 06.4′E
Habitat
Vigtorniella ardabilia has so far been found living:
- on the bones of marine mammals, specifically the remains of a minke whale, Balaenoptera acutorostrata
- in organic-enriched sediments underneath a fish farm in Norway
