Ringlet butterflies are a chocolate brown hue with a small white border, and ringlets on the upperside of its wings. It is normal for some specimens to lack the ringlets completely. There is very little sexual dimorphism between males and females since both look quite similar. Male wingspan 42-48 mm. Female wingspan 46-52 mm.
